Cookies Policy

This policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage or withdraw your consent. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Last updated 6 July 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how Boian, Gaina & Associates SPARL ("we", "us", the "Firm") uses cookies and similar technologies on bg-law.ro. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process personal data.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, and tags — store or read information on your device for comparable purposes. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

Cookies may be:

  • Session cookies – deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies – remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
  • First-party cookies – set by bg-law.ro.
  • Third-party cookies – set by external services we use.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to keep the website functioning, to remember your preferences, and — only with your consent — to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

Marketing cookiesMarketing (optional)Set only if you accept all cookies; allow our advertising partners (such as Google and Meta) to measure ad conversions and attribution, so we can understand which campaigns are effectiveThird-party, up to 24 months

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to work and do not need consent. Analytics, preference, and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them via the consent banner.

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to operate — for example, to remember your consent choice and your selected language. They cannot be switched off through our banner. You can still block them in your browser settings, but parts of the site may then not work correctly.

4. Analytics and Preference Cookies

For traffic statistics we primarily use a cookieless analytics tool (Rybbit), which stores and reads nothing on your device and collects only anonymous, aggregated data (for example, the number of visitors and pages viewed). Since it does not access any information on your device, it does not require consent.

Where you give consent, we may additionally use analytics cookies to collect aggregated, statistical information about how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on page, approximate region). This helps us improve our content and services.

Only where you accept all cookies, we use marketing cookies to measure advertising conversions — for example, when an enquiry follows an ad click — together with our advertising partners (such as Google and Meta). This helps us understand which campaigns are effective. We do not use them to build advertising profiles or to show you ads on this site.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Some pages may embed third-party content (for example, an embedded map of our office location). These third parties may set their own cookies, which are governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies. We do not control these cookies.

When you first visit the site, a consent banner lets you Accept all cookies or allow Essential only. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by:

  • Clearing the site data / cookies for bg-law.ro in your browser, which makes the banner appear again on your next visit; or
  • Adjusting cookie settings directly in your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn you before they are set. See your browser's help pages for instructions.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

7. Changes to This Cookies Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page, with the "Last updated" date amended accordingly.
